• Respect the confidentiality of mentee information

5. Mentee Responsibilities

If you use Mintee as a mentee, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions or cancel with appropriate notice
• Engage respectfully with mentors
• Not record sessions without explicit consent
• Understand that mentors provide guidance, not professional advice

6. Payments and Refunds

For paid sessions:

• Payment is required at the time of booking
• Mentors set their own session rates
• Mintee charges a platform fee on paid sessions
• Refunds may be issued for cancelled sessions per our cancellation policy
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may not be eligible for refund

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share false or misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent platform payments
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware or engage in hacking

8. Intellectual Property

The Mintee platform, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Mintee and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer

Mintee provides a platform for connecting mentors and mentees. We do not:

• Guarantee the quality of advice provided by mentors
• Verify all claims made by mentors about their experience
• Provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice
• Guarantee specific outcomes from mentorship sessions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mintee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
